  "message": "Revert \"fmt-merge-msg: stop treating `master` specially\"\n\nThis reverts commit 489947cee5095b168cbac111ff7bd1eadbbd90dd, which\nstopped treating merges into the \u0027master\u0027 branch as special when\npreparing the default merge message.  As the goal was not to have\nany single branch designated as special, it solved it by leaving the\n\"into \u003cbranchname\u003e\" at the end of the title of the default merge\nmessage for any and all branches.  An obvious and easy alternative\nto treat everybody equally could have been to remove it for every\nbranch, but that involves loss of information.\n\nWe\u0027ll introduce a new mechanism to let end-users specify merges into\nwhich branches would omit the \"into \u003cbranchname\u003e\" from the title of\nthe default merge message, and make the mechanism, when unconfigured,\ntreat the traditional \u0027master\u0027 special again, so all the changes to\nthe tests we made earlier will become unnecessary, as these tests\nwill be run without configuring the said new mechanism.\n\nSigned-off-by: Junio C Hamano \u003cgitster@pobox.com\u003e\n",
