  "message": "fmt-merge-msg: allow merge destination to be omitted again\n\nIn Git 2.28, we stopped special casing \u0027master\u0027 when producing the\ndefault merge message by just removing the code to squelch \"into\n\u0027master\u0027\" at the end of the message.\n\nIntroduce multi-valued merge.suppressDest configuration variable\nthat gives a set of globs to match against the name of the branch\ninto which the merge is being made, to let users specify for which\nbranch fmt-merge-msg\u0027s output should be shortened.
