Help\nusers start their sparse enlistment using \u0027git sparse-checkout init\u0027.\nThis will set \u0027core.sparseCheckout\u003dtrue\u0027 in their config, write\nan initial set of patterns to the sparse-checkout file, and update\ntheir working directory.\n\nMake sure to use the `extensions.worktreeConfig` setting and write\nthe sparse checkout config to the worktree-specific config file.\nThis avoids confusing interactions with other worktrees.\n\nThe use of running another process for \u0027git read-tree\u0027 is sub-\noptimal.
