  "message": "sparse-checkout: \u0027set\u0027 subcommand\n\nThe \u0027git sparse-checkout set\u0027 subcommand takes a list of patterns\nas arguments and writes them to the sparse-checkout file. Then, it\nupdates the working directory using \u0027git read-tree -mu HEAD\u0027.\n\nThe \u0027set\u0027 subcommand will replace the entire contents of the\nsparse-checkout file. The write_patterns_and_update() method is\nextracted from cmd_sparse_checkout() to make it easier to implement\n\u0027add\u0027 and/or \u0027remove\u0027 subcommands in the future.\n\nIf the core.sparseCheckout config setting is disabled, then enable\nthe config setting in the worktree config.
