Git Contributors' Inclusion Summit

Monday, September 14th 16:00-19:30 UTC (9am-12:30pm PDT)
Tuesday, September 15th 17:00-21:00 UTC (10am-2pm PDT)

Purpose

This summit is part of a broader effort to make the Git version control system support inclusive open source projects and their contributors.

Git needs to take the needs of all its users into account, not just those currently participating in the Git project.

Overview

Git Inclusion Summit is a partnership between the Git Core team at Google, Google OSPO (Open Source Program Office), and Microsoft OSPO. This is an initial inclusion event for the core contributors to Git. Plans for a 2021 follow-up event for a broader set of Git end users will be discussed during the summit.

Code of Conduct

As this is a Git project event, the Git Code of Conduct applies.

Please report any issues by email or IRC private message to the event organizers. We will respond as described in the Contributor Covenant, version 2.0.

Concerns about the conduct of event organizers can be reported to the project leadership team as described in the Git Code of Conduct.
